Hotel Albo

The rooms are very clean and very nice. They come every day to clean them and the staff is the friendliest staff I ever met. The food is delicious and they can make you custom food if you want to eat something else. If you are a person coming for work reasons be aware that you will probably not be getting any sleep because they have parties every night. That made my overall experience go from awesome to 1.5/10. They have no schedule so the music plays till very late. I would give 2 stars but the staff is amazing and the rooms are nice.

The hotel definitely needs to think about investing in rooms and other facilities. They are clean but do not move any items, bellow is dust. The bathrooms are not equipped enough, the showers leak, the towels are old, etc. The hotel often turns into a place for parties on weekends (wedding parties, birthday parties, etc.). Smoking is allowed everywhere, and guests often smoke in the rooms, which should not be allowed. Breakfast is the same for years, few vegetables and no fruit. There is no gym and spa. Stuff is very friendly and helpful, but the management should be better.

I have stayed at the Hotel Albo numerous times. It is a clean, well appointed hotel with a very professional, friendly staff. The people at reception are always cheerful and ready to help and the restaurant staff are likewise very courteous. I do not speak Serbian but this has never been a problem as all of the recption staff speak very good English. The restaurant food is great. I have never had a bad or even remotely average experience in all the times I have stayed there, which has been approximately 2-3 times a year since the hotel has opened. The only time I have found things difficult is when the hotel has hosted a local function, such as a wedding or an office party or whatever. At these times the festive atmosphere is sometimes a little too noisy or smoky for my liking and I have eaten elsewhere. This is not a problem - rather it is a function of the hotel being a very popular place to host functions. I have no problem in recommending the Hotel Albo as a great palce to stay.
